Jet Black!

So, I clearly don't follow rules and dyed my hair again after doing so last weekend lol. I am going to be so sad when all of my hair falls out. This time I am very happy with the results and it looks jet black! The color I used last weekend was a rinse. This time I used Clairol Natural Instincts in Espresso Creme (rich black) which is semi-permanent, I had good results with this in the past. I am also very pleased because my hair is still curly and looks pretty much the same as it used to! there are a couple pieces that are a little heat damaged though. I am getting another sew in put in on Saturday, I will be back with pictures!

Flexi Rods!

I tried flexi rods for the first time! I like how it came out. I just did two pin curls in the very front and used five flexi rods and left them it in for about an hour.

So Fickle...

So, in my last post I was talking about how much I liked my weave and didn't know when I was going to take it out, my mind quickly changed. I took it out yesterday and I am so mad I did. It still looked good and I really hateeeee my hair right now. Last night after I took it it out I washed it, did a hardcore protein treatment, attempted to dye it jet black, and conditioned over night. Today I washed out the conditioner, blow dried and flat ironed it. It looked awful so I rewashed, blow dried and flat ironed again lol. I guess I figured that wasn't damaging enough so I repeated the process for the third time in like 3 hours lol. I still was not please with the results but this seems to be as good as it is going to get. These are the results of my last flat iron. I don't know what it is, but my hair does not look or feel like it usually does. It usually feels pretty silky when I flat iron it, this time it is more soft and fluffy. I'm guessing this is a result of heat damage, the protein treatment, or the color. I am also kind of mad because my hair didnt turn out as black as I wanted.I think I might get Senegalese twist next so I don't end up bald, but whenever I get those I end up taking them out after 3 weeks. I am a bit frustrated with my hair right now.

Back! + 1 month weave update

I finally got a new camera! But, I think I hate it lol. I don't seem to have a problem with outside pictures, but when I take pictures indoors they sometimes come out really red. I like the way the camera looks a lot, it is a FujiFilm finepix s2900, I just don't like how the pictures come out. The camera has more settings than I am used to though so I prob just have to learn how to use it, if any one has any tips please helppp. I was going to get a really nice camera but then I realized this is my 3rd camera since Thanksgiving so I don't want to spend a lot just to lose or break it.I have really missed blogging so much and I have a couple things I want to post about right away! Missikko sent me a flat iron to review, so once I take out my weave  I will test it out on my natural hair and post a review for you all. I also bought a tripod so once it arrives and I do some fall shopping Ill post some OOTDs!

My weave is still going strong lol. It has been a month since I first got it installed and I think It still looks pretty good. Im excited it lasted so long because I only paid 75$ lol. I have washed it 3 times. I washed, blow dried, and flat ironed it yesterday. These pictures are from today. I'm not sure when I am going to take it out. I think I may get another one after I do. I used Outre Remi Yaky and I do like this hair. It still tangles some, but not as much as most. I have experienced very little shedding and I did not seal the wefts. 

I got a little camera happy, but these pictures show how the hair is holding up.
