Lashessss!

Ardell 116
Fake eyelashes are an easy way to make a look more dramatic or more glamorous! I have always loved them on other people but I was afraid to try them on myself so I just stuck to applying tons of mascara. While browsing in CVS I decided to pick up two pairs. There are so many different styles and I did not really know where to start but I settled on these two. The Starter kit cost $6.49 and contains the 105 lashes, the lash grip glue, and the applicator which I did not use. The other pair are the 116 lashes which cost $4.99. These lashes are made from 100% sterilized human hair and the box says they can be used for up to 3 weeks.

This is my first time attempting to apply fake lashes so my results arent perfect and I can't really give any tips from my own experience, but there are plenty of tutorials on youtube. I did find it was easier for me to use my hand instead of tweezers or applicators. Also, make sure you finish your eye makeup before applying the lashes. You can apply mascara before or after applying, I think when I do a complete look I will apply some mascara after applying the lashes. Some apply liquid eyeliner after also to hid any imperfections. Once you get the hang of it I can see applying these as being very easy!

***I am not wearing any eye make up in any of the pictures , If I were completing the look I would wear eyeliner, mascara, and possibly eyeshadow

These lashes are very natural but still have some drama because of their length

These lashes are much more dramatic and fuller. These would look nice with a dark eyeshadow look

Have you tried fake eyelashes, if so why kind do you like?
Also, If anyone has any tips or tricks feel free to leave them!

You did pretty good for your first try. I love false eyelashes I wish my own lashes were longer. I know one trick that may help you out a little. If you take your mirror and look down into it while you're applying your lashes it makes it easier to see where you're placing them. Hopefully that made sense lol but I think you did well for the first try.
