Generic Value Products Conditioning Balm VS Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm

So my hair is straight again, I can't wait until it is warmer and I can do more with my natural texture because I won't mind going out with wet hair. Anyway, I tried out the Generics (GVP) Conditioning Balm from Sally's on Friday before straightening my hair and I am extremely pleased! Aside from using a good flat iron and blow dryer, using a good conditioner plays a major roll in getting natural hair silky and straight. Using a good conditioner before flat ironing is really important because you want your hair to be moisturized because you do not want to use a lot of product prior to straightening. I usually use a salon quality conditioner when flat ironing, for the past two years I have been using Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm. Since I have had good luck with the Generics flat iron I thought I'd give some of their other products a try.
I applied this conditioner like I do the Biolage and left it in for a couple hours like I usually do. The only thing I did differently is use the Generics conditioner. After rinsing it out my hair felt soft and moisturized. I am very happy with this product! My hair has movement and feels soft, I actually think my hair came out a little straighter than usual. I have never been able to get my hair straight how I like it while using cheaper shampoos and conditioners so I am so excited this worked as good as or better than the original! The Biolage Conditioning Balm cost 19.49 for 16.9 oz compared to 6.29 for 16 oz of Generics Conditioning Balm! The Generics line from Sally's is great, If they make a generic version of a product you use give it a try, could save you a lot of money!

GVP CB is definitely a staple in my regimen! Between that, ion Effective Care Treatment and the GVP version of Paul Mitchell the Conditioner, they have the conditioner game on LOCK! Now if I could only find a good cowash conditioner that would make me give up Giovanni or Herbal Essences, they'd get all my conditioner budget....

Yea, I am so happy I found these products! I want to try the shampoo next.I like Herbal Essences but I cowash almost daily when my hair isnt straight so I stick to V05 moisture milks for that since it is so cheap.
