Braid Out Day 2!

Hiii! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

My braidouts on blowdried hair have been sucking lately, so I decided to try one on wet hair. I origionally staarted doing them on blowdried hair to help show length, but after trying it on wet hair I def like this much better. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I did it on wet hair since being natural. I did the braid out the same way I did HERE, I just did it on wet hair instead. I moisturized with Oyin Handmade Hair Dew and Used Ecostyler gel. It took forever and a day to dry. It was still wet after air drying for over 12 hours and sitting under the hairdryer for about an hour. I wish I took pictures of it after I took the braids out because it looked nothing like this lol, It looked way too tame for me. I streched it with the concentation nozzle on the blowdryer and picked out the roots some. These pictures are of day two hair. I have been on a roll with this second day hair stuff lol!

Heat Waveeee: FOTD and OOTD

I feel like I haven't posted in forever!

These pictures are from Sunday. I just went to my cousins 1st Birthday Party and a cookout so I didnt want to wear too much makeup. The heat also made me not feel like wearing much. Last weeks temps were horrible.

I got tired of having wet hair so I just blow dried my hair pretty straight and put it in a bun. 

I am also wearing one of my favorite blushes, Taj Mahal! I haven't wore it in so long but it look beautiful on darker skin!

The floral jumpsuit is from Forever 21, It is a little big on me but it was so comfortable! It stops around the calf area and tapers off some.

Meet Cleo!

So I got a wig, and her name is Cleo lol. 

This is my first time ever wearing a wig. I have wanted one for a while though. 

Yesterday my friends wanted to go out but I did not feel like washing my hair so I randomly decided to get a wig. The hair is synthetic, but you can use heat on it up to 400 degrees. I only plan on wearing it when I go out and don't have time to do my hair. 

I felt like I was in a costume lol, didn't feel like I was myself at all. I def feel prettier with my real hair and kinda felt like I blended in with all the other wig and weave wearers lol. The change was fun though! I wore my Micro Mesh Gloria V body suit from American Apparel. I will post more pictures of it on another day. I want to wear it with my hair curly.  I also wore Impassioned lipstick, love it!

One day I will start taking pictures when I go out so I can stop subjecting you all to my bathroom pictures lol, excuse the mess!

This is why I do not take pictures straight on, only having one dimple makes my face look lopsided lol.

I did this look almost 2 weeks ago. I actually ended up changing after these pictures so I did not wear this dress out. So you will probably see it again. I wish I took pictures of what I ended up wearing, I suck at taking pictures when I go out.Anyway, I had a lot of fun and by the end of the night my hair looked nothing like this. First it got really big and fluffy, then after more dancing it shrunk up above my shoulders lol.

 Sidenote: I just noticed I almost have 400 followers! Im pretty sure I will do a give away if I ever make it to 500 lol!

Day 2 Wash and Go=Success!!!

This is a day 2 wash and go! I am super excited because this is the first time I was able to wear a wash and go for more than one day. All I did was put a triangle scarf around the front and went to sleep on a satin pillow case. In the morning all I did was refresh some sections that got bent with water in a spray bottle. I will try this again next weekend to see if I just got lucky or if it will be effective in the long run! For this to work, your hair def has to be dry when you are ready to go to bed. 

This is my Grandma! Today we celebrated her 70th birthday which is tomorrow. Can't believe it, she still seems 50 to me lol.

Yesterday I went swimming. I'm sad I didn't get any good pictures of me me in my new bathing suit, mainly bc I look like a twig in all of them lol. I am so much more self conscious about my weight in the summer because I can't hide behind clothes. In the winter I pile on layers and look bigger lol.Anyway, I like the color of the bathing suit a lot! I got it from Target. 

It was so beautiful out this weekend! Hope everyone enjoyed it!

Red,White,and Blue!

Hope everyone is enjoying their 4th of July Weekend!

These pictures are from yesterday, I didn't plan on wearing red white and blue lol. 

I was just lazy and didn't want to change before I went to the bar so I put on red lipstick (Ruby Woo <3) so I didn't look so blah. I sooo need to go clutch shopping, I always pic up that little red thing on my way out the door and I am so tired of it being in my pictures lol.

 I also straightened my hair! I only did it so I could see if my frequent wash and goes were causing any damage or excess single strand knots and they don't seem to be! I used Sabino Moisture Block instead of Chi Silk Infusion. I cant give a full review yet, but I do think it makes my hair feel stiffer and less silky than the Chi. I'm not sure if it helps with humidity yet. It wasn't that hot or humid last night outside or in the bar. Ill see how my hair holds up today. Ill prob wash it tomorrow.

Noticed some growth in my hair! I hate that it grows in such a "V", but I am only a couple inches from Bsl!
